The High Country recently experienced floods and the bushfire season is just around the corner, so it’s time to ensure that you are prepared to deal with crisis and the impact it may have on your tourism business. TNE is offering a Crisis Training sessions where you can learn some crisis preparedness and recovery essentials and review some recent and applicable tourism case studies. Hosted at the Tourism North East's offices at 19-23 Camp Street Beechworth on 13 December from 10.30am-1.00pm (with morning tea included) this Crisis Training session will address the following topics:
- Crisis Preparedness
What Emergency Services' tools and information are available to you and what are the parameters of your duty of care to your visitors.
- Insurance Processes
Robust businesses plan for crisis events and recovery, but do you know how and when your insurance will provide post-crisis support?
- Social Media - Manage your business reputation during and after a crisis event and minimise the impact on visitation.
