Region Toasts Biggest Ever High Country Harvest

The region’s signature event, High Country Harvest, kicked off  in fine style on 5 May with hundreds of happy visitors enjoying a superb Grand Opening Dinner, a progressive feast, an Autumn forage, a voyage around the Shiraz’ of the world and a masterclass in craft beer.

With 53 events encompassing 75 industry partners, this year’s High Country Harvest is be the biggest yet, driving visitation and yield throughout the region while positioning the High Country as a leader in the food, wine and craft beer space.

A highlight of this year’s festival is the strategic partnership with Melbourne legends, MoVida, including a dinner on Friday 19 May at Michael Ryan’s The Provenance in Beechworth, co-presented with MoVida Head Chef Scott Stevenson.

The partnership culminates in an exclusive High Country Harvest lunch at MoVida in Melbourne on 24 June featuring local  ingredients sampled by a team of MoVida chefs and sommeliers on a recent tour of the region to meet local producers and growers.
