Tourism North East recently successfully launched the new High Country at Home platform to connect virtual visitors to the region and, importantly, directly to regional businesses offering bookable interactive online classes and experiences.

Now TNE is keen to hear from regional tourism business with new ideas which could be showcased on the site, such as cooking classes, tastings, skill classes, craft or any other inspirational ideas virtual visitors could enjoy from home.

How does it work? Businesses with a current ATDW listing can develop an interactive group online experience representing their normal offering and designed to bring the best of the High Country directly into people’s homes. Current experiences now bookable via High Country at Home are cocktail making, beer tasting, gnocchi making and foot therapy. As a paid, ticketed event, the experiences combine products sent directly to the participant’s door ahead of time with a live session with a small group of friends or colleagues to enjoy together online.

Interested businesses are encouraged to jump on board via a new High Country at Home EOI, which closes 3pm Friday 22 May.

Contact TNE’s Industry Development team who will be happy to guide you through the process.

High Country at Home is also an online marketplace showcasing products from nearly 100 regional businesses. There’s also a current list of Melbourne stockists of a range of High Country products on the site. Businesses are encouraged to contact TNE to get products listed for sale via the platform.
