Changes to COVID-19 Restrictions from Friday, 4 June
The Acting Premier of Victoria has announced current circuit breaker restrictions will remain in place in Melbourne until 11:59pm, Thursday 10 June, with some small changes.
Restrictions for regional Victoria are have eased as of Friday 4 June.

Important for Businesses
Customer Postcode Checks & QR Code Check-in required from today
To help keep Victorians safe and ensure customers live in regional Victoria, Regional businesses are required to check identification of their customers.
Additionally, QR Code check in is required upon entry using the Service Victoria app, even if the visit is less than 15 minutes.
To make this as easy as possible we have included some resources below:
1. ONLINE POSTCODE, SUBURB & ADDRESS CHECKER
How to use:
Enter a postcode, suburb or address.
The checker will return one of the following for each response:
- METRO – the location is in metropolitan Melbourne
- REGIONAL – the location is in regional Victoria
- FULL ADDRESS NEEDED – the location spans both metropolitan Melbourne and regional Victoria, and you will need to enter the full address to clarify

Important to note
*Permitted visitors from metropolitan Melbourne are only allowed to dine in hospitality venues if they are a permitted worker.
QR Codes
As of Friday 28 May 2021, all customer-facing industries that require checking-in must use the free Victorian Government QR Code Service. The full list of industries can be found at Checking in with QR Codes.

Circuit Breaker Business Support Package
The Victorian Government has launched a $250 million Circuit Breaker Business Support Package.
Support is available to small to medium businesses and sole traders affected by current circuit breaker restrictions, including operators in the hospitality, retail, events and creative industries.
