A range of government funding initiatives have been announced to support tourism businesses hit hard by the Summer bushfires and now the COVID-19 situation.

TNE is encouraging industry operators to explore and register for State Government funding assistance aimed at helping mitigate the substantial loss of income felt by many small businesses around the region.

During this difficult time, Tourism North East is continuing to advocate to Government agencies on behalf of the industry and local government and Resort Management stakeholder partners.

TNE is also focusing on directly assisting tourism businesses establish an effective online presence or improve their ability to engage with customers online through a FREE digital upskilling program offering a range of individual and group online sessions.
