Victoria is carefully and sustainably reigniting many sectors of its economy with a deliberate focus on tourism.
The Victorian Government announced that High Country projects will receive significant funding support from the $465M being directed to the State’s tourism industry including $15M for the Falls to Hotham Crossing and $4.3M for the continued development of the King Valley Prosecco Road.
In addition, $28M has been identified to support a regional travel voucher scheme. This scheme, a collaborative effort between Visit Victoria and TEVE (Tourism, Events & Visitor Economy Department), is currently in development.
