TALENTED NEWCOMERS JOIN TNE BOARD

Two new skills-based directors have joined the regional tourism board - Chartered Accountant, John Evans and risk advisory, governance and strategy specialist, Rad Anandakumar.

John Evans brings a strong background in accounting and finance to the TNE Board, along with a comprehensive understanding of the drivers of business profitability and sound organisational strategy. He is an experienced director, executive and corporate adviser, with a background in finance and accounting, governance and business strategy. He currently combines his ownership and executive management of an advisory firm, with non-executive board roles in the public company, private and philanthropic sectors.

Rad Anandakumar’s extensive tourism and technology experience as well as risk, governance and strategic skills will make him a valuable new addition to the TNE Board.

He is currently working for Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu as a Director of Risk Advisory & Analytics, assisting organisations in using data-driven analytics and insights to make strategic decisions on managing controls, governance and mitigating risk, whilst driving business sustainability and profitability. He has worked as the Head of Business Intelligence & Data for Tourism Australia and is currently a business owner, successfully governing three tutoring businesses and exploring a number of other start-up opportunities.

Representing Victoria’s High Country, TNE’s Board of Directors includes the CEOs of all six of the shires and three resort management boards represented in the High Country, along with up to six skills-based appointees, who are overseen by an independent chairperson.
