TNE is seeking an experienced Chairperson to manage the TNE Board following the recent resignation of foundation Chair, Paul Carrick, who served for nine years.

The role requires someone with strong leadership skills and governance principles to oversee a large and high-performing board.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in efficiently and competently chairing meetings, and be able to effectively balance strategic insight with emotional intelligence. The Chair acts and speaks on behalf of the Board with external stakeholders, and is the key liaison between the CEO and directors, so must have sound relationship management skills.

Expertise in government, tourism and destination development are also seen as particularly relevant.
