Have your say to help shape the future of the Victorian wine industry
Anyone with an interest in the future of Victoria’s wine industry is invited to have their say on the Victorian Wine Strategy – preliminary design document.
The Victorian Government and the Victorian wine industry are co-designing this new strategy as part of a 2023-24 state budget commitment.
This renewed strategy presents an opportunity for grape growers and winemakers, through to wholesalers, exporters, hospitality, retail and consumers to set new directions for the wine industry.
The strategy aims to be comprehensive and inclusive while strengthening the wine sector and enhancing tourism, creating jobs, and driving economic growth across the state.
The Victorian Wine Strategy – preliminary design document is out for public consultation until Friday 31 January 2025.
All wine industry stakeholders are invited to share their aspirations for the wine industry. This includes everyone involved in the industry from grape growers and wine makers, to logistics and exporters, hospitality and retail, academics, supporting industries, and consumers.
You can participate through attending an online forum (Friday 24 Jan and Tuesday 28 Jan), completing the survey, and by sending a submission to Engage Victoria.
