Ever since Young Tourism Network (YTN) and Regeneration Projects published the 2021 Young Voices in Tourism report, they’ve been on a journey. At a pivotal moment in history, it helped to spotlight and elevate the perspectives of young people towards careers in tourism, events and hospitality. It was a moment to take stock and openly share frustrations, anxieties and hopes. Fortunately, their voices were heard.
One of the positive outcomes of advocating to industry and government was YTN landing some generous funding support through the Victorian Government’s Department of Jobs, Precincts and Regions.
Now, YTN are excited to share two incredible opportunities for young people from diverse backgrounds to launch or relaunch their tourism career.
